BBC Friday 6 January 2017 – YEAR 8!

BBC – EIGHT YEARS OLD!

Our first official BBC meeting was 9 January 2009 at the Blue Ocean Cafe (image above). Sadly, Blue Ocean closed its doors a year later, March 1st 2010. We were called BISBER back then: “Bainbridge Island Small Business Entrepreneurial Roundtable” later shortened to BBC (phew!). Founding MC Tim Longley noted early on: “Person-to-person relationships, that’s what we’re about at BBC.” (First BBC Blog Post.)

After the Blue Ocean, we met downstairs at the Pavilion (where Thuy Nguyen had her first coffee shop), then at Local Harvest (they closed their doors in 2012), then a couple times at Thuy’s second wonderful coffee destination Roosters Cafe, then at the excellent florist shop & coffee bar Flowering Around, finally to settle at our present, most gracious location of OfficeXpats Coworking & Conference Center, very kindly hosted by Leslie & Jason.

Why do you love doing what you do? How did you come to be the business person you are? Where did you come from? What galaxy? Dimension? Time?

Be there, be free, be businesswise. For, in a sense, as serial entrepreneurs, we’re all business wise!

So invite your friends and associates to come join us for this exciting non-virtual non-cloud event in real time and real space…and another delicious cup of BBC!
