BBC Friday 23 August 2019 – “Visit Bainbridge” Business & Tourism Roundtable, w/ Chris Mueller

This BBC Friday: “Tourism Conversation” w/ Chris Mueller (visitbainbridge.com), who will moderate the discussion, joined by three special guests: our own BBC Regular Mickey Molnaire, Director of Marketing & Tourism, Bainbridge Chamber Of Commerce (BainbridgeChamber.com); Claire Donahue, Marketing Director, Bainbridge Island Lodging Assoc. (DestinationBainbridge.com); and Natalie Rodriguez, owner Tour Bainbridge (TourBainbridge.com).

As a followup of our previous two discussions on Branding Bainbridge (10 May & 7 June), we will consider: What is the role of tourism on Bainbridge Island? What does it mean for Island businesses? And how can you harness the power of tourism? Learn about current initiatives and meet some of the organizations and businesses dedicated to promoting Bainbridge Island to visitors.

Chris will introduce the topic and address some tourism goals and outcomes. Then Chris’s colleagues will speak about some of what they are doing in support of tourism as related to Island business. There will be plenty of time for discussion and Q & A.  Original December 2017 “Visit Bainbridge” PressRelease (PDF doc).

There has emerged from recent BBC Fridays this year a triumvirate of Island ideas, discussions, and opportunities: 1) creating a unified Bainbridge Brand as a destination of concierge services, arts, recreation, and culinary delights and events; 2) seeking creative, innovative solutions in Island-wide business and way-finding signage; and 3) articulating a core vision of Bainbridge Island as a world tourist destination. How can we develop our Island identity, in the coming years, in such a way as to combine and unify these three elements, while modeling a uniquely-flavored economic sustainability and humanity. This BBC Friday we will be considering #3, so bring your brilliant brains, wacky creativity, and delightful questions!

Be here, be free, be businesswise. For, in a sense, me hearties, as serial entrepreneurials, we all be business wise!

So Invite your friends and associates to come join us for this exciting non-virtual non-cloud event in real time and real space…and another delicious cup of BBC!
