From The    To   2008-2023

After a difficult post-Covid year (July 2022 – July 2023) the all-volunteer BBC Steering Committee has decided: “We had a good 15 year run. It’s time to close the doors on an informal in-person model of local community business networking and support.” Virtual reality and digital community has become the norm. The full Press Release (pdf).

Thank you to our BBC Steering Committee present: Wynne Jacobson, Kevin Dwyer, Annette Walker, Ken Sethney, Jason Omens, and Dave Kragen. Also, special thanks to our Chamber liaison of many years, Mickey Molnaire. There are many more folks who made the BBC a delightful business networking and support community, too many to name and thank here. With some 250 “regulars” on the BBC MailChimp mailing list, and many Kitsap County businesses, organizations, and non-profits participating over the years, all we can say is: Thank you to everyone who graced the BBC with your business storytelling, your presence and playfulness, and above all your business wisdom so freely shared. Aloha Kakou.
