BBC Friday 22 March 2013 – Kirsten Scheffler “Lessons & Learned Wisdom From Premium Wine & Liquor”

Join us this BBC Friday for a reprise retrospective from BBC Regular Kirsten Scheffler, amazing manager of Premium Wine & Liquor, which, despite the heroic efforts of Kirsten and her delightful staff, closed its doors on 1 March 2013. (PS. BBC had nothing to do with that! We never met there! It’s not our fault!!)

thumb_0051The island’s former state-run liquor store operated under the name Premium Wine and Liquor and was owned by a Seattle-based company. Kirsten managed the store with skill, flair, and acumen during its nine months of superior quality service to the Island.

When the store opened, Kirsten told Richard Oxley of the Bainbridge Review: “‘Our sales have been pretty good so far. Honestly, we have great customers who continue to come to our store location…. We’ve had a lot of comparison shopping, which we welcome, because this is a confusing time for customers’.” (Richard D. Oxley, Bainbridge Island Review Staff Writer, June 8, 2012 · 12:23 PM · bainbridgereview.com/business/158191775.html). / Kirsten’s contact info: [email protected]
