BBC Friday 10 August 2012 @ OfficeXpats – Roundtable Discussion “Online Reputation”

This BBC Friday we’ll have a roundtable discussion on the topic “Online Reputation” — so bring your expertise or your curiosity, whichever you have more of.

What is your “online reputation”? Is it positive, negative — do you even know? Do you even care? How much “reputation protection” do you want? Does too much protection end up hiding your business and contact information or mess up your SEO? Lots of questions. Maybe a few answers. We’ll go online and scope out the reputations of a few of you….  “Any volunteers?”

So, invite your friends and associates to join us for this exciting event … and another delicious cup of BBC!

BBC @ OfficeXpats – 403 Madison Avenue N, Bainbridge Island, Upstairs At the Pavilion

7:30-8:00 – coffee/tea, visiting, informal networking
8:00-8:45 – roundtable discussion: “online reputation”
8:45-9:00 – more networking, sharing, visiting

Reminder: a small donation to OfficeXpats ($3-4, or whatever you can afford) for coffee/tea & breakfast service is welcome; or, if not already an OXp Member, consider an OfficeXpats Passport Membership for $15 a month (see all the benefits of Passport Membership at OfficeXpats.com) — such a deal!

Sincerely,
The BBC Management, KaveDragen Ink, & Other Entrepreneurial Sentients From Planet BBC

BBC Regulars – Upcoming Events

Thursday 9 August is International Coworking Day! OfficeXpats will honor this 7th anniversary of coworking with a free coworking day, open to all.

So, you OXp members, invite a friend or associate to try out OXp! Those who are not members, here’s your chance to see first hand what business coworking is all about.
Deskmag has reported that as of February, 2012, there are now 1320 coworking spaces worldwide, 88% up from a year ago (583 in the U.S., 545 in Europe, and over 100 in South and Central America, Australia, and Africa). We don’t know the numbers six months later, but we can celebrate the ‘birthday’ and the number 7. Following tradition, we will take a break for a barbecue lunch, and then because it falls on Thursday, we should have a good crowd for happy hour at 4:30!

August 15 – September 3: Paper Products Back To School Shopping Specials!  paperproductsetc.com

“Shop at Paper Products in Winslow, save your receipt, drop it off at the school of your choice (before Sept 15), and the school earns 5% of the value of the receipts collected in FREE school supplies.  Very similar concept to the box top label program, but instead on a local basis and we are providing the schools a lot more.  We also have our annual bag pre-order program that allows parents to order their child’s school supplies via phone, fax or email.  We bag it all up, they come in and pick up the pre-packed bag, and we provide them 10% off everything in the bag.  Great way to save time and money.” And save up to 25% or more on select school supplies!
Information on both of these programs is also available on our site at:
