Join Us for a fascinating BBC Friday with guests David Donaldson & Ken Schlaudraff of Dignity Memorial & Miller-Woodlawn: “The advantages of pre-planning final arrangements.” Besides pre-planning death, Ken and David will also discuss the many benefits available to Veterans.
David Donaldson, has been with Miller-Woodlawn since 2013 as both a Family Service Counselor and a Funeral Director Intern. “While normally our duties keep us behind the scenes ensuring all goes well for our families, I have had numerous occasions where I have been asked or have volunteered to lead services in the chapel and at graveside. Before joining Miller-Woodlawn, I was a CNA (certified nursing assistant) for three years, helping seniors live independently as long as possible, and my own grandmother was my last client before she passed.”
Ken Schlaudraff, Community Service, Pre-planning Advisor, and Family Service Counselor, has been with Dignity Memorial for nine years, working out of Miller-Woodlawn in Bremerton for eight. He has been a company certified presenter for VA Burial benefits and “Your Life, Your Legacy” planning ahead seminars for seven years. Working in professional communications for 30 years prior to his position at Dignity Memorial, Ken served in the Marine Corps, and is a Vietnam veteran.
Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park is a Dignity Memorial provider in Bremerton, Washington, and has cared for Kitsap Peninsula families since 1928 with compassionate services during times of greatest sorrow.
