Join us this mid-summer BBC Friday for a delightful presentation from David Weinstock, “Walking Your Talk.” David will offer a taste of his work, Somatic Consensus (SC). SC practices train across physical, emotional, linguistic, intellectual, and intuitive domains to build daily practices for building empathic faculties, harmonizing conflict, finding your voice – and walking your talk.
David is a certified international trainer of Nonviolent Communication, executive director of Liminal Somatics (liminalsomatics.
David and his wife Judith, along with eight others, co-founded an intentional community where they have raised their family since 1990. All of David’s work – in particular his present organization, Liminal Somatics – is based on building our connection to one another and toward a healthy stewardship of the earth. (Note: some of you may recall it was Judith Weinstock, Alexandra Rust, Liz Matteson, and Irene Clark who, in 1985, nurtured to maturity Bainbridge Island’s brilliant culinary institution “The Streamliner Diner.”)
