BBC Friday 22 January 2016 – Seasoned Business Social Networking w/ Jeff Hora of Social Sapiens

Join us this cozy BBC Friday for an exciting social media update led by BBC guest presenter and creative geek Jeffrey Hora: “LinkedIn, Facebook, & Social Media Secrets For Business – Tips, Strategies, & Tactics You Can Use Today Without Getting Swamped.”

SocialSapensLogo_smSometimes it’s not easy to distinguish social media for fun, family, and — sports frenzy? — from social media for business networking and savvy marketing. Some are now even using Wikipedia for business social networking. How does that work? Bring your questions, concerns, and crazy queries for a fascinating analysis from a creative geek!

JeffHoraJeff’s passion concerning the humanity and authenticity of relationships on- and off-line drives his beliefs and career. A resident of the Puget Sound for over 20 years, he has worked for Microsoft, HTC, and SDL in numerous roles including consultant, product manager, and community manager.

Jeff helped create and teach the Social Media In Business course as part of the UW’s Certificate In Social Media Technologies & Implementation. He has taught Social Media workshops for job seekers, as well as coaching them in building a strong professional personal brand online. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Iowa State University and a Master of Communication in Digital Media (MCDM) from the University of Washington.
