BBC Friday 23 January 2015 – “WordPress For Business” Revisited – w/ Katherine Morgan

As we continue our sneaking, sliding, wandering, and meandering into these first winter days of 2015, join us at BBC this Friday for another “TUE@NOON Sneak-Peek” with multi-talented EcoMentor Katherine Morgan, environmental sciences researcher, program development consultant, and business coach (katherine@ecomentor.com).

Eco-Entrepreneurial Discussion:  Katherine (EcoMentor.com) will lead a discussion of using WordPress to power your business website, tips & tricks, apps and net-security. This session will be a follow-up on the BBC WP presentation by Annette Walker last October 3rd. Annette gave a great introduction then. This session will be a good chance to ask Katherine further questions about WordPress. So bring your thoughts, queries, and conundrums this Friday, along with … you know, your brains. (There’s always plenty of coffee to aid the synapses!)

BBC’s WordPress Website: This discussion could also be a chance to talk about what you’d like to see on our own BBC website (kindly hosted by Jason).

Planning a WordPress Website. OfficeXpats Tue@Noon January 27th Workshop (now extended and more comprehensive at 1.5 hours long) will feature Katherine’s presentation on WordPress. “Walk through the steps of choosing themes and plug ins and getting your content ready, and be on your way! Whether you are planning to do it all yourself or work with a developer, and whether you are starting from scratch or moving an existing site to the WordPress platform, this workshop will help you understand the steps involved and how to use the WordPress dashboard and tools to present the information you want to share online. Hands on, to facilitate exploration (but don’t expect to be building a website from scratch in 90 minutes!). Planning worksheets included.”

Be there, be free, be businesswise. For, in a sense, as serial entrepreneurs, we’re all business wise!

So, invite your friends and associates to come join us for this exciting non-virtual non-cloud event in real time and real space … and another delicious cup of BBC!
