BBC Friday 24 January 2014 – “The Green Tamarind LTD” – Business Start-up Story, w/ Lena Scott

This Friday BBC OXp Member and Ambassador Lena Scott will share her Business Start-up Story: “The Green Tamarind LTD.”

Lena Scott on about.me: “Hey everyone! I currently live outside Seattle and office out of a co-working space on Bainbridge Island (OfficeXpats Coworking & Conference Center). Through my company, I show people how to connect to one another and to the marketplace via great content creation and social platforms. Pondering systems, networks, high connectivity, and observing human behavior takes up most of my attention. When I am not thinking Big Thoughts I like to unwind by reading, staring off into space, painting and drawing, and spending time with people I love. I also enjoy wrestling with my Maine Coon, office humor, and snark.”

Lena also helps artistic entrepreneurs and artists-coaches to build a relationship-based marketing cycle for their projects or business needs. She has fun using the philosophy of relationship marketing rather than per sale/transactional marketing. A “Relationship Marketer” is defined by Mari Smith as “everything you do to make your prospective and current customers aware of your products and services, position your business in their minds as the obvious choice, and help you to build life long, profitable relationships with them” (marismith.com/tenets-of-relationship-marketing-effectiveness).

Come enjoy Lena’s story. Be there, be free, be businesswise. For, in a sense, as serial entrepreneurs, we’re all business wise!
