BBC FRIDAY Roundtable Discussion with our own BBC Regular Jason Omens: “Securing Your Data“ – Internal and External Hard Drive Data Encryption.

Do you need to secure your computer’s hard-drive, external HD, flash/thumb drives? If so, how?

This BBC Friday our own BBC IT-Guru Jason “i-can-fix-it” Omens will lead a roundtable discussion on:
1. Computer HD, External HD, FlashDrive, Thumb-drive and SD-Card Data Security & Encryption;
2. Including, as time permits, thoughts on computer login passwords, network passwords, file-sharing settings, anti-virus & firewall, Internet café/hotel usage and security, Admin vs. non-Admin login.

Jason Omens has managed the IT and network administration for small to midsized companies for over two decades. He has a passion for building secure, highly reliable information technology infrastructures, and was recently interviewed by Gartner to give views to their Magic Quadrant for SMB multifunction firewalls, and also by Biztech Magazine and Information Security Magazine about unified threat management. He is a Microsoft Partner with several certifications including MCSE, MCDBA, and MCP. Jason founded OfficeXpats with Leslie Schneider in 2011.
