BBC Friday 19 December 2014 – The Happy Hanukkah Xmas Kwanzaa WinterSolstice Dark Cold Wet Edition

This BBC Friday Xpat Mistress Leslie Schneider will lead a happy and serendipitous Business Strategy Roundtable discussion on “How to Promote Business Events on the Island” (and not just any island).

Ever wondered how one goes about reaching an audience and convincing them to show up for YET ANOTHER EVENT? There’s always more to try! We will start with the standard process for how OfficeXpats has promoted past events and then try to go beyond and break new ground. For a real-world example, we will focus on Katherine Van Slyke’s upcoming January health coaching event “Beyond Willpower” ( Leslie promises a handout listing the OfficeXpats promotion checklist, and then we’ll put the subject on the table for discussion, strategizing, and development.

Breakfast Potluck: this last BBC of 2014 (ending 5 exciting years of BBCness and looking to Year Six) will also be a “Bring a breakfast snack to share” event: for example, make or grab on the way in healthy donuts, bagels, breakfast scones and jam, anything with SPAM (or anything without SPAM).

Note: the electricity around here at OXp doesn’t tend to allow for successful cooking on hotplates or griddles, so snacks should be ready to eat, or at least of a sort that can be microwaved warm. Be creative, be happy, be BBC!

So invite your friends and associates to join us for this exciting non-virtual non-cloud event in real time and real space … and another delicious cup of BBC!
