Join us this BBC Friday for another “Business On Bainbridge“ (or BOB, or bring your own beer) — a conversation with our own Leslie Schneider, OfficeXpats co-owner, longtime BBC Regular, and Deputy Mayor, Bainbridge Island City Council.
Quick alphabet soup quiz: what is the DUOWM, why did it cause so many people to show up at last Tuesday’s City Council meeting, and what is its status now? Alternate question: What is the difference between a business meeting and a study session? For extra credit, what is an executive session? For those who follow such things, what do you think of the draft RFQ for the Sustainable Transportation project that Council will have discussed by Friday? These or other questions can be asked or answered by you at the next BBC, when Leslie Schneider will wear her councilmember hat (i.e., “prepared to talk policy and all things mysterious about City business”). BTW, Leslie is already 1/3 of the way through her short 6-month term as Deputy Mayor. How did that happen! (And does it mean Leslie will be running for president in 2020?)
Leslie will not only share cool business stuff, but she also wants to access her “BBC Board Of Directors” (that’s us) to pick our collective brains. She appreciates us — and we APPRECIATE her, and Jason, for their years of hosting the BBC! Leslie on City Council. Leslie on LinkedIn.
Be here, be free, be businesswise. For, in a sense, me hearties, as serial entrepreneurials, we all be business wise!
So Invite your friends and associates to come join us for this exciting non-virtual non-cloud event in real time and real space…and another delicious cup of BBC!
