BBC Friday March 22 – “Cross Cultural Journeys 2019” w/ Cilla Utne

This BBC Friday special guest Cilla Utne, BBC Regular and OfficeXpats Ambassador emeritus, will focus on Cross Cultural Journeys’ work with local partner organizations. For example, Cross Cultural Journeys is producing a trip over spring break for BIFC (Bainbridge Island Football Club), leading 31 young soccer players and a dozen chaperones on a journey to Manchester  –  soccer capital of the UK. The trip departs on March 28. Very exciting!

Cilla Utne has been President and CEO of Cross Cultural Journeys since 2015. A purpose travel company based on Bainbridge Island, and founded in 1991, Cross Cultural Journeys has provided socially and environmentally responsible travel for individuals and organizations interested in global awareness, indigenous wisdom, and societies at the crossroads. Cross Cultural Journeys has offered People-to-People experiences in Cuba since 1998, among many other destinations. For close to three decades we have built meaningful relationships with local organizations, NGOs, artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, doctors, architects, and everyday citizens. CCJ draws upon these relationships to make each trip an in-depth cultural immersion experience.
