Exciting BBC Notices, News, Events
OfficeXpats at 4th Of July – New Member Discounts: During 4th Of July festivities OfficeXpats will once again have a booth, featuring a kid activity that has been wildly popular in the past: making juggling balls (also can be used as a stress ball) with balloons and bird seed. We are trying out a new squishable filling called “Orbeez” too. Please stop by the booth with your kids (and grownups are welcome to make them too). Please tell your friends to check out OfficeXpats, at the booth or for real in the Pavilion. We will be offering a “first month at half off” to new members, regardless of the level of membership.
Thanks, and I’m excited about our first Fourth in a while! –Leslie (officexpats.com)
Bike For Breath: OfficeXpats authors Paula & Lorenz will be journeying down the U.S. west coast on their “Bike & Book Tour”; you can follow them (interactive progress map) at bike4breath.com/bike-and-book-tour/. FB page: facebook.com/paula.holmeseber. Cool PDF PressRelease.
The new Fort Ward Hall (biparks.org/facilities/): Friends of Fort Ward, a 501(c)3, along with the Kitsap County Sewer District #7, the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park and Recreation District, neighbors and other organizations, raised funds to restore the building. The Park District will operate the building, which will be used for classes, scout meetings, potlucks — and sewer district meetings, of course! The sewer district, which owns the building, will maintain a small office there (kitsapsewer.org/fort-ward-community-hall/.).
