Join us this BBC Friday for a special edition of “Business Continuity Planning” (BCP) and the potential impact of COVID-19 (or any widespread epidemic) on local businesses and community resilience.
John Dinsmore, general manager The Marshall Suites (marshallsuites.com/), will lead off the discussion with some ideas about what The Marshall Suites is doing to be prepared, flexible, positive, and community-minded. We would also like to invite to participate other business owners and entrepreneurs who have been developing their own BCP (business continuity plan), or have even thought about it.
Let’s share ideas that are practical, business specific, and community minded. Over the last couple years at the BBC, we’ve had a number of general discussions about how to prepare a BCP. Now we have the opportunity to continue that discussion vis-a-vis a real-world context – with creativity, business wisdom, and courage.
Alwyn Chikamoto is planning to join the discussion via SKYPE from Hawai’i. Aloha! Last October’s BCP BBC: bainbridgebusinessconnection.com/bbc-friday-11-october/. A few related resources: fema.gov/small-businesses | sba.gov/business-guide/.
Be here, be free, be businesswise – and be safe. For, in a sense, me hearties, as serial entrepreneurials, we all be business wise! Arr…….
So Invite your friends and associates to come join us for this exciting non-virtual non-cloud event in real time and real space…and another delicious cup of BBC!
